Thanksgiving in the middle of December...

Hello peeps...

Really sorry for the lack of updates...Finals just came and gone this week therefore here I am again blogging away...

Firstly some pictures from my first real Thanksgiving with my host's family and extended family.

F.Y.I I have 4 host :-
  1. Terry Scheade
  2. Ed & Dorothy Hutchins
  3. Hector & Carol Colons
  4. I-don't-know-who-he/she-is.
Madness eh ?

A little perhaps but fun...I get to see a lot of different types of houses during my stay here...ahahaha...

Didn't do much over the break... Followed Ed for a 12 hours drive to Indiana... (it was at least 650 miles...)

Friggin far... But kinda worth it !

On the way we stopped by the "Mammoth Cave". The biggest and longest cave in the world. It had a spectacular view called the "frozen Niagara Falls"

Stalactites & stalagmites... Frozen in time...

Whatcha' think ?

I saw friggin' snow for the very first time in my life !

Ed and his family...Well part of it...This is only 2 out of his 5 son's family...And some were not around as well...Oh well...

Burnt most of my time in Indiana with this...

Played Risk with Ed's son & grandson till 4 in the morning the night before we left Indiana...

Ed's great-grandson....Cute ?

Ed decided to take me flying...This is Neal my flying instructor... I would say the first time I got a chance to fly a small airplane it was almost the best feeling in the world...Having so much freedom can be sickening...

*So how do I looking as a pilot ? Good ?*

A Cessna 152 take off...

Ironically I got to fly an aircraft but I can not drive a car because people here drive on the wrong side of the road where else in an aircraft both party flies the plane so it did not really matter which side you sit on...

Overall the drive there was worth and I would definitely go to Indiana again if I have the chance to because I really want to see the city...Belief it or not the whole stay besides being in the plane and seeing the whole horizon I DID NOT GET TO GO TO THE CITY FOR GOD KNOWS WHY...

Which sucks... But up next ! Washington DC...I will be heading there with Terry next Monday so hopefully I will be in the right place this time to catch lots of snow ! XP
